Review by hotel critic
As a wildlife conservationist and a lover of gourmet cuisine, my recent stay at this hotel in Itea provided a delightful blend of relaxation and culinary exploration. The hotel’s location is commendable—situated directly opposite the shimmering waters of the Corinthian Gulf, making afternoon strolls to nearby picturesque taverns like Mouragio an irresistible choice. The room, though modestly decorated, offered ample space and a cozy atmosphere. I enjoyed breakfast atop the terrace, an experience enhanced by gentle sea breezes. The selection was adequate, featuring local flavors that showcased the region's culinary richness. During my stay, I ventured into local eateries such as Base 89 and To Kare tou Meze, where I savored fresh seafood and traditional Greek dishes, all while admiring stunning views of the Peloponnese. The staff was notably friendly, ensuring a smooth check-in and providing insightful recommendations about local cuisine. In summary, for those who appreciate a serene coastal setting combined with enticing dining options, this hotel serves as a commendable base for culinary adventures in Itea. I would readily return.
